Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is a formal eight-week course with a daylong intensive that was created by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979. This highly experiential program is taught around the world to assist people in creating more aware, responsive (rather than reactive), non-judgmental lives. The course is appropriate for anyone interested in becoming more proactive in taking control of their health and well-being.

Courses are taught in Claremont, CA at different venues based on student enrollment.

Classes begin on a revolving basis when the class cap is reached. The classes are offered on Fridays from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. One full day-long “retreat” is scheduled between the sixth and seventh weeks on a Saturday.

The current wait-list course is offered at an introductory and temporary cost of $350 per student. Payment is due prior to the start of the course.

How to enroll

Interested participants are asked to join the wait list by filling out the form on the Contact page. Participants will be contacted several weeks before a new course starts to fill the roster.
